How to copy HUDplus from an old computer to a new computer, and setup the new computer.
1. Copy the files from the old computer:
The files that make up HUDplus are all located in a single folder. Normally the folder is named "hudplus."
If you have a direct link between the old computer and the new, simply do a copy and paste operation. It is recommended that HUDplus be placed in a folder named "hudplus". It is recommended that the hudplus folder be located in the root directory of the c drive.
A second method is to copy the files to a CD rom, and then on the new computer, copy them from the CD rom. If you use this method, some cd rom drives mark the files as read only when they are copied onto the new computer. If so, select start, run, and type in "command" and click ok. Type in CD space backslash and tap enter. Type in CD space hudplus and tap enter. Type in ATTRIB space -R space *.* and tap enter. Type in EXIT ant tap enter.
2. Create an icon to start HUDplus:

Select Desktop. Close the explorer. Right click on the new icon, and rename it to "HUDplus Local." Test the new icon. HUDplus should start with one click. Exit HUDplus and the desktop should reappear with no additional action required.
3. Create an icon to start the HUDplus website.
Right click on an unused part of the desktop. Select new. Select shortcut. For the address, type in "http:\\www.hudplus.com." Click on next. For the title, type in "HUDplus Website." Click on finish. Test the new icon. One click and the website should appear. Click on close, and the website should be gone.
